[ZPatterns] How Do I compile DynPersist.c with Python2.3

Hello,

I want to use Phyton2.3 + Zope2.7.0-b2 + ZPatterns + SuSE8.2. Can you help me 
how to compile DynPersist.c?

I tried the way written in the README, but this didn't work, because Python2.3 
is very different in this point.
