There are bugs that I know about in Zope 2.4.1. I'd be inclined to use 
the latest beta release of 2.4.2.

As for ZedPatterns / TransactionAgents, I'd ask on the zpatterns list.

I'm using them "in production". I think others are too.

If you need some sort of service level support contract for 
TransactionAgents/ZedPatterns, get in touch ;-)
