Aha...  Does it have this problem *without* the '%import hello' line?

The reason I'm asking all these questions is that I'd like (if practical) 
to be able to create a failing test for this, before applying the 
patch.  It's generally a good policy, because it ensures that one 
understands what the change is *for*.  Thanks.
