setting up a project would be good (not sf.net please). i thought about
hosting it on our cvs .. but i think it's better to have it not bound
to a person/company .. so that more people might contribute.

currently i'm a bit busy with gui-stuff .. and my office-desktop-pc /
thin-client broke this week .. 

so i might be a bit less responsive as usual.
