[11:45:03] As for the progress bar, you need to subclass setuptools.package_index.PackageIndex and override the 'reporthook' method. [11:45:46] Then subclass the easy_install command and change the 'create_index' attribute to refer to your PackageIndex subclass. [11:46:01] That's about it, other than implementing the progress bar.
